As the first private Cameroonian airline, ZeJet stems from the desire of former aviation experts in collaboration with Cameroonian investors who shared a similar vision for the development of the airline industry in Africa in general and Cameroon in particular.

Our Mission
Like other countries with similar economies, Cameroon – despite the efforts made over the years to develop the transport infrastructure (roads, rails, ports and airports) – is still facing a lack of transport infrastructure to ensure the mobility of goods and people under the best of safety conditions.
This makes the airplane a relevant transportation alternative.
ZeJet’s ambition aims therefore at democratising the transport offers in Cameroon by complementing not only the national airline company (Camair-Co) but also the other means of transport (roads, rails and ports).
Our History
- In January 2019, an agreement in principle was signed between ZeJet’s promoter and an aircraft manufacturer;
- In September 2019, a letter of intent was signed with a world-class company for technical support;
- In October 2020, the Cameroonian officials were informed of our desire to position ourselves in the aviation market;
- In February 2020, a preliminary application was filed with the competent authority, and this led to a moral and administrative investigation of the promoter and all the key resources of the project;
- In April 2020, at the peak of the world pandemic and while the Air Transport was faced with a global crisis, the promoter maintained his ambition to develop the project and the Line Ministry agreed to continue the due diligence;
- In June 2020, the legal statutes of the future company, ZeJet, were officially filed and registered;
- In August 2020, the formal application for the Air Operator License was filed with the competent authority;
- In March 2021, ZeJet SA was officially created in the Trade and Personal Property Credit Register (RCCM) of Cameroon;
- In April 2021, the aircraft of the operator’s fleet were inspected and secured;
- On 31 August 2021, ZeJet secured its first aircraft in the fleet;
- On 8 December 2021, the BUBINGA – the first aircraft in the fleet – arrived at Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport after a ferry flight from Toulouse Francazal Airport, France, to Yaoundé Nsimalen Airport, Cameroon. A technical stop took place in Djanet, Algeria;
- On 29 December 2021, the first General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) was held at the company’s headquarters;

Our Fleet
The ZeJet fleet is composed of EMBRAER ERJ_145 regional jets. It is one of the most popular airplanes on domestic and regional flights, used in Africa by some thirty airlines.Our fleet choice seeks to combine safety, effectiveness, comfort and reliability.
